From the Olching P+R S-Bahn station (3.5 km away) you can reach Marienplatz, the heart of Munich, in 25 minutes by S-Bahn. Free parking is available at the station. The train runs every 20 minutes. There is a bus to the S-Bahn station 300m away.
The Amper river runs directly past the lake and offers cyclists and pedestrians exciting excursions on natural riverside paths, e.g. to Fürstenfeldbruck to the monastery (7km) or to Dachau Castle with its old town (7km).
Olching, a suburb of Munich, is 3 km away. Here you will find supermarkets, DIY stores, doctors, pharmacies, banks, car dealerships, petrol stations, camping equipment and much more. Dachau is 8 km away, about 10 minutes by car.
